A heavy emphasis will be placed on the fundamentals and all areas of wrestling. The program of instruction will include fundamental techniques and advanced techniques in wrestling. Also, part of the camp will be instructional tapes and competitions.
Program Instructions
Stretching, gymnastics warm-ups, light jogging, basic strength building, basic wrestling skills. Wrestling instructions in the areas of Folkstyle, Freestyle, and Greco-Roman styles of wrestling. Advice will be given in dieting and mat strategy.

Coach Russ Cozart - Wrestling Coach for Brandon Sr. H.S.
After 32 years at Brandon High School, Coach Cozart's record is 484-5 in dual meets and has won 21 State titles. He is a 10 time Florida Coach of the Year and 3 time National Wrestling Coach of the Year (1988, 2000, 2006) Cozart has personally won the Veterans World Championship 7 times. He has coached ages 7-19 for 32 years in the Brandon Wrestling Club. Coach Cozart has been coach to several State and National wrestling champions at all age levels.

Desire to learn how to wrestle or to become a better wrestler

Checks must be received in the mail by the first day of camp or you may pay on the first day of camp.
***Please R.S.V.P. to hold a spot for the camp you wish to attend. All camps will be limited to the first 40 WRESTLERS to register in each session.***
Coaches can observe the camp for a small fee or a coach can observe for free if he brings three or more wrestlers.
Parents, for safety purposes please send your child's insurance information with them to camp.
